"Vanishing America" and How to Enter Photo Contests
Listen-in to this show featuring photographer Holt Webb, who in 2007 started out on a multi-year project crisscrossing the Continental United States to document what he believes is "Vanishing America". Holt will visit from somewhere on the road and show and tell you how he's using modern technology and photography to capture the special elements of American culture and landscape that he believes are in danger of disappearing forever. Also visiting will be Stephen Burns, Coordinator of the Digital Arts and Photo Exhibition at the San Diego County Fair with important tips on how to enter photo contests everywhere that can help you improve your chances of winning. Stephen is the author of several books on Photoshop and is a career photographer and photo educator as well as being the president of the San Diego Photoshop Users Group.

NYI's Photo Contest Grand Prize Winner, New & Cool Photo Stuff at PhotoPlus Expo & Gary Bernstein's Photo Tips

New York Institute of Photography's Photo Contest, Gary Bernstein's Lighting Basics and Elizabeth Opalenik's Poetic Grace
Check out this edition of Photo Talk Radio featuring Chuck DeLaney, Dean of the New York Institute of Photography. Chuck will tell you about NYI's International Photo Contest going on now and how you can enter for your chance to win a trip to New York City or other prizes too. Gary Bernstein, known for his celebrity and fashion photography and more makes his monthly "How Do I Do That" visit with the fundamentals of lighting. Gary's career includes photographing some of the biggest names anywhere. And it all starts with how he uses the light.
